Sorry guys... haven't been on for a while

Sun Jul 20, 2008, 12:50 PM
Hi all,
Guess what... I'm back! ;)
Haven't been online for a while and right now I have a lot of time.
I really like the new deviantart design. In the beginning it's a little hard to find everything again though.
So I'm on vacation in the US again. It's pretty hot around here... around 38 degrees Celsius(100 Fahrenheit).
I made a trip to San Francisco... I'll post a few photo's of that later.
I just cleaned my camera's sensor, which was pretty scary. I did everything it said on the little can, but a little bit of fluid came off and got on the sensor. So I bought this sensor cleaning and cleaned it and now my photo's look a lot better without all the dirt(which I had to remove manually each time with photoshop).

Please post a message and have a nice day >.<

Hi all,
I'm really hard at work for school at the moment.
I've got some really good news I'm moving for 1 year to America and then coming back to The Netherlands.
I'm also really hard at work for school so next year I won't be behind with all the others in school.
I got a new Ikea chair for the computer (really nice one:P) and a new really nice wireless keyboard.
I also tried reducing the fan noise in my computer so my father and I were going to some store buying a new fan. Then I asked my dad are you sure this fan is less noisy??? Then he said: I hope so.
Then we came home and switched the fan and then hahaha it was like twice as noisy so then I switched it back to the old one..
So what are you all up to??

Btw take a look at ditommi's gallery it's really nice! [link]

CRAZY!!!

Thu Jul 14, 2005, 1:47 AM
Well this was really wierd:
Ok this tuesday I was photographing in my city.
Then this security guy walked to me and said do you have a photograping-license for this?
I ofcourse said no and then he said ok then you'll have to leave then i went home and e-mailed our municipality.
I got this e-mail back:

Dear Martin,
For photographing on public streets a license is required.
You can normally request a license at the end of the year.
There are already 2 companies that have a license for photographing on the streets we don't know if there is room for a third one.
The costs of a license are euro 15.70 a year.

Greetings,
An kie Wiemer
department administratively legal matter

So let's see you're a tourist and you are going to The Netherlands.
You can't even photgraph without that license that means you'll first have to request. You can wait verrrryyyyy long and then you'll have to pay 15.70 euro.
